Yeah, it’s just not fair that the entire Pacific Northwest has got only one NFL team (a mid one sadly) to support. Like, even Portland has the Trail Blazers basketball team (Seattle has women’s and UW and SeattleU have college basketball, but no NBA) but no football team- or Boise, or Spokane. Now college football on the other hand… we’ve got four teams that are all rivals of each other (Washington Huskies in Seattle, Oregon Ducks in Eugene, Washington State Cougars in eastern WA and Oregon State Beavers in Corvallis) and the Idaho Vandals as well, just across the state line from WSU. And UW and Washington state aren’t all that bad either.

I might transfer to WWU next year (if I don’t make UW) after 2 years spent at an east coast college that I find doesn’t suit me, if I do I can go there often. Dunno what I was thinking, choosing that over Lewis & Clark

There aren’t many small towns, let alone those not in Culp country, “close to Seattle” (which is mostly surrounded by small cities like Everett, Bellevue and Bothell and the large city Tacoma which is quite conservative for such a city)- except perhaps Vashon. Make sure you’re financially stable before you move to this area

The earlier the better since even July is past the peak blooming season, do not underestimate Rainier’s microclimate; you’d be surprised by how long its winters last. Don’t trample them and stay on the trail. While many people here seem to think this couple is trampling them, if you look closely you can see they’re on a trail
