I've slept in my vehicle, very obviously, all over Boston for a period of several months. There are no rules against sleeping in a vehicle, and I've even seen situations/reports where residents were mad that someone was sleeping in an RV on their block for months on end, but the Boston police refused to do anything because it was legal and they were parked legally. You're fine with the law, just find a quiet street and get there by dusk and leave by dawn.
