America has never cared for its citizens' mental health and its well documented. We would need a paradigm shift overnight to even begin to start building the kind of support networks people need. Never mind the people with ACTUAL mental issues and addiction, those people are well and truly fucked.

These all seem like decent minor things. As others have pointed out the litter one is pretty interesting, we’ll have to see how that plays out. But there’s nothing in here about housing other than reducing taxes for people with disabilities. No new low cost housing, no new zoning. The gas tax thing is nice I guess but prices dropped after the midterms anyways. At least education is getting some money to it.

Okay? Just because the US “does a better job than most” doesn’t mean we even do a good job. It also doesn’t thrill me that it’s even issue. We have the #1, 2 and 3 best military in the world imagine if we focused on social issues instead. So kindly fuck off with your platitudes and downplaying the issue.

That’s most of americas problems honestly. No one easy answer and multiple broken as fuck systems involved.

I feel like that’s something we could probably fix though.

This is really the thing that needs fixing.
