Got it, thank you so much for this! That makes sense. So, just to make sure I have the order right on how this would go:
Taking the knowledge/written test (and passing it) would grant me my permit -> receive physical copy of the permit at some point in the mail -> after receiving physical permit, I can take the road test at any point, with no need to wait for anything else -> pass, receive license?
