Yeah it's a bit like banning cars because some maniac might use one to ram into people. It's not the fault of the car, it's the fault of a specific user and by universally banning cars you're just making everyone's life more difficult.

I don't support it for what it stands in any shape or form. It's about the principle for me of one small group/individual having so much power.

I think religion was invented so we don't go crazy with existential dread. But sure, later it definitely got 'militarized' which is just another form of false security.

Laws differ by country because morals differ by country. It's a pointless exercise to try and micromanage it. I think expecting AI to bend to various people's morals is futile, it's the humans that will have to adjust to AI, not the other way around.

Sometimes they omit results entirely. Try searching for kiwi farms forum on google for example. It's all because some higher up at google has a personal problem with it.

But that's not what most people interact with. It's mostly Windows, macOS/iOS and some proprietary version of Android.
