I haven't owned any in many years, but G.H. Bass used to have quality loafers. Does anyone know if that is still true?

I love how comfy Vionics are, but mine don't last very long. YMMV.

Make your own from hair ties you know last. They are very easy to make. Get satin (not real silk - it can dry your hair), and you can hand sew it if you don't have a machine. https://threadsmonthly.com/diy-scrunchie-with-hair-tie/

Thanks. If you find a link please send it along - I couldn't find anything but I am not sure what I'm looking for. Editing my comment now.

It would not be the first thing on the internet that is false. Do you have a source to you can point me to?

If you cannot find another use for it, and it is medical grade silicone you can burn it in a campfire. Seriously. It is safe to burn and will not release harmful gasses. Alternatively, call your local hospital and find out what they do with silicone.
Source: Scoured the internet on how to recycle a menstrual cup.
EDIT: Okay, maybe don't burn it, per u/GoldenNerd1. But yes, check with your local hospital.

I love my Happy Rainy Days full length coat. I've had it for many years. It is a Dutch company, so it is made for a taller lady - which works well for me and my crazy long arms.
