A year or two ago they visited Beech Ridge in Scarborough just before it closed. The year before that, they were in the Cross Insurance arena. They come around, you just need to keep an eye out.

I remember hiking up the short and steep trail our first visit to Battie. It wasn’t too rough, but there were a couple areas my wife and I need to slow down to focus. As we approached the summit, we saw a bunch of old people milling about. I was really confused because though the short & steep trail is doable for anyone in condition resembling anything decent, it was way too much for some of these folks.

Then we reached the summit and I saw buses dropping people off just beyond the tower…
