Why not share with us some of the factual changes you'd have made that would have kept it a 50/50 entertainment-wise also? It's hard to agree or disagree with you without hearing anything of your vision, and I'm interested in what changes you'd make given the clear passion you have, but with your outright dismissal of the creatives' due-diligence through the podcast its difficult to see.

I'm not saying you're right or wrong but I tend to feel the changes made for dramatization kept the emotional weight of the issue intact in a way that clinical factual presentation sometimes fails to account for. I'm curious as to how you envision the emotive weight to be fostered outside out the simple weight of the facts, and it would probably help others discuss this as well if there were more direct reference to your intent.

Oh look, the daily "The Wire Isn't Good" post is up.

This one is hitting the good hallmarks, guys. We've got whining about not having black and white good guys to care about. We've got unneccesasry Sopranos comparisons. We've got a deeply defensive OP responding to all comments.

Honestly, probably the best Downvote Collector since yesterday.

Yeah, I don't see other people acting like they're the Fantano of this sub. Nobody else is commonly scoring shows. No one else is linking their other posts in comments. No one is compiling lists of their posts to self-aggrandize. And worst of all, your responses to disagreeing comments are dismissive and haughty, and discourage actual conversation about the shows you're bringing up. You assert your half-formed opinions like they're fact and "bruh" all comments to the contrary. You're everything terrible about people expressing their opinion online, and you don't seem to be hearing how many people are not a fan of your work.

These posts always seem like someone seeking validation that something is bad, while not willing to say they think it's bad in case that's unpopular.

Maybe you just don't like MQ S3. Maybe there's nothing wrong with it, or you. Some stuff is just always gonna fall flat for someone.

I assume there's gonna be a point where John has to do some big sacrifice thing where he has to leave his memories of Mary and hunting behind in order to save the world from God's Mistake Angels or some shit, and it all just retcons back to how it should be so the showrunners can be smug and pretend like they didn't ruin continuity. Its crazy on-brand for Supernatural, the question is whether they get to that plot point before CW folds and they get canceled.

There's an overall story, but its mostly just Tony. Whether he's a good or bad man, whether he wants to be, how he relates to the business that has been his entire life and the people around him...

There's not a "main arc" that doesn't depend on Tony, its more how the little things affect and change him, and how those consequences beget others, particularly inside of people.
