That album sounds like a demo they recorded in the Blair Witches basement. Love it though!

I love Samhain, but unfortunately, some of the recordings are less than stellar. Not that I think the productions should have been super polished, but I wish they had the means to record slightly higher-quality albums. That's a minor quibble though, as the songs themselves are super dark and super catchy. Style-wise, for me, they were a perfect middle ground between Misfits and Danzig.
