I get it...but embrace living in a city where the cops don't bust yer balls over every little thing. You want that kind of policing go live in anywhere in Bergen county, or Morris county. The first day I moved into Madison I was pulled over and out of the car for a seat belt. But balance is hard. In other news I hope you don't need police to respond to an emergency. You will likely be waiting...and waiting...

Not JC but the best fries I ever had were in Manhattan at Iris . Takes 3 days to prepare. The crisp level is otherworldly due to the first step of a glucose soak before the first cook. But for JC I like archer duck poutine and Ella Greek fries and of course McDonald's fries 🍟 when I feel really bad lol

Yes the workflow is inefficient. I even said that in my Google review. There is a girl that just hands people pastries and nothing else. She even looked bored out of her mind 🤣

I love the place but I have issues with them. I never get the egg sandwich or aka buns . I mean it's a tasty $10 tiny sandwich,but the wait to order and get it is just to much. The pastries I usually stop in on a Thursday to get because the line is small if at all. They don't make any hot food on Thursday. I feel like they could streamline things to better serve the neighborhood. And being open more would definitely help. Must be nice only 4 day week..I would definitely come in more than my once or twice a month is f they expanded hours. But ye as everything there is tasty. My favorite is the honey crisp apple coffee cake Or fig coffee cake. The crullers are good too.

2 weeks ago I was on my scooter driving down Cole's towards Newark Ave and someone ran the stop sign on 4th st and I had to skid and bail and hit the ground hard. The guy stopped got out and said I was fine to get up. Called me a pussy and laughed then drove away. All he cared to say was he didn't hit me. Which is true but he definitely caused me to fall and get hurt . It was the way he acted that really upset me. Totally uncaring.

Downtown..legit bagel spot...wonder is meh at best to. I'm talking good hand rolled Jewish bagels, with crisp outsides and soft, slightly chewy insides. A good chicken spot along the lines of el sobroso . Don't even say the spot on Grove. Just terrible. Would love a trader Joe's... Would it be too much to ask for an art house theater/cafe?
