Fantastic picture!
But how are you able to go 7 minutes with no star trail? Doesn't seem possible, is all.

You know when I was editing and creating it. I didn't really think about it like that. But your right, and I think that's why I like it so much. It does have a nostalgic feel to it. Glad you enjoyed it as well.

Guess I should have specified this in the OP. But, I overlaid a 'noise' filter on top of the image, for an artistic effect. There are no stars (visible) in this image. Sorry for the confusion.

Fantastic picture! This hits my photography/ocd buttons though, with the Moon being off-center. I get why it's done, to show off the lit up side of the moon. But as someone who is aware of the rule of thirds and object centering... You know what, it's a great picture, I'll leave it at that.

Thanks, I guess I misread. I thought it was a 7 minute exposure. Saw it was multiple 4" ones. My bad. Anyway, great picture. Thanks for sharing.
