Well, I've read a few hours ago that the Fold 4 was manufactured in China so... I'm confused to say the least.

Shit... that's true. After the Fold 2 the Fold 3 and 4 are built in China.

While that's true, I definitely pack an external battery when doing any sort of travelling, it probably isn't as good as an Inreach, but it does tip the scales toward Apple/Samsung.

Pixel is Chinese built, and only the premium Galaxy phones (Fold, ultra...) Are built outside china.

I can see a usage case for some very, very specific scenario.
like, I have a BT controller for my galaxy fold to stream my gaming rig to it and play on it like it was a beefed up steam deck.
I guess I could see the use of a foldable mouse (something more like microsoft iteration though) and foldable keyboard to go along the foldable tablet, stream my pc to the thing and have the most powerful (streaming) portable computer ever.

The GoogleTV one is probably the best value for your buck.
