and thats not taking into account deliberate shooting down of sattelites with missiles, say if one nation was loosing a war badly and blamed the other side supplying weapons to their enemy....

thats only if anti-satellite missiles arnt used, thats my biggest worry, not an accidental collision, but a series deliberate shoot downs of satellites from one side or another...
Say Some nation was badly loosing a war and wanted to threaten the west....

so whats the priority, who gets to determine resource allocation, and which population group benefits and suffers?.
Its also a matter of trust in intentional institutions, transparency, corruption and corporate influence.

thats fvcking disgusting. if this is the practice, they should be nationalized.
I have always argued for nationalization of all industries that refuse to change their operations to protect global and local Environments

Reply to Ethics of Nuclear Energy in Times of Climate Change: Escaping the Collective Action Problem by CartesianClosedCat
instead of only building large nuclear reactor power station for whole cities, I would think that smaller, modular reactors, mass produced and transportable, thats easily expanded, maintained and replaced would be an important part of the solution to also incorporate where viable. A reactor thats an isolated "single-use" closed-system. Where the manufacturer comes and replaces it after some years and rebuilds a new one from the recyclable parts of the old one. I even think there are types that can use decommissioned nuclear warheads as fuel.
