Most of the big names in movies were good nearly every single time. Now it seems like everything is consistently garbage with a very rare good movie.
I used to go to the theatre for every single marvel movie and now everything past endgame is so bad that I don’t even watch those movies at home.
I’d rather they left all the big movie franchises alone as everything they touch turns to garbage

I used to not assume the worst. I’ve formed my opinion after getting more and more disappointed by all these “modern” remakes

So people aren’t allowed to want their favourite show updated to look even better?
Not to mention these garbage changes can affect the entire future of a show

A remaster can only be done for non live action things.
If you’re getting people to act even if they are copying from a previous movie, it’s a remake.
If it doesn’t add value don’t change it. I’m confused how you don’t seem to understand that people love their favourite works of fiction and get pisses off when people fuck with it.

I thought we were talking sequels.
If we are talking remakes than I want everything but the quality to remain identical.
The remake of halo 2 was a perfect example of what to do to make all the fans extremely happy.
What you really have to ask yourself is “does making a change add anything of value to this (non politically)” if not then you shouldn’t make the change.

No need to take a dump on the previous works while making something new like what they did to luke in starwars. It’s also important to make sure the rules in these fictional universes remain the same.
I have 0 problems with any race in a movie, i just have a problem with race swapping previously established characters that have a long history and huge fan base. Again just make a new character however you want instead of fucking with characters that people love

Just make new stories instead of changing what people have loved for years.
Nobody would complain about your new original like they do when you alter someone’s favourite entertainment

Changing established characters and lore and changing them in the name of “progress” always lowers the quality of the product.
Instead of focusing on making an entertaining product they are too busy making sure their political opinions are making it in

Sure have them be completely separate from the movies but there still has to be some quality on it, especially with the high bar marvel set with the older movies
