My town's facebook group is filled with people getting irate and nasty and even the most inconsequential things can launch a rant about groomers and Brandon or whathaveyou. the school board candidates keep posting about "traditional values" and get legit pissy when asked to actually say what they are.

the most active people almost never have any posts about friends or family. just getting insane brainworms from scrolling all day and having nothing else going on for you.

shit's bleak tbh.
