Years ago (80s) there always seemed to be glassware from fast food places. Growing up we had a bunch of Looney Tunes glasses, some with McDonald's characters, and I know there were more as well.

That wouldn’t have made sense at the time. I get why they do it now, but it would’ve been counterproductive in the 80s.

But fried chicken restaurants aren’t a public service. If they’ve determined profitability by location based on prior data, you can’t fault them for their decision. That is, they’re a symptom of a larger problem and can’t be expected to be a vanguard of equality.

Concierge doctors are, for me, a way to get care the way I had always assumed medical care should be. That is, a doctor who cares, who can spend an appropriate amount of time with you, and can see you when you’re having an issue. It’s unfortunate that standard practices fail in one or more of those things, but that’s the state of care in them at least as I’ve experienced it.

They're apparently revamping it, not closing it permanently. I hate to see the old trees being cut down though (unless they were dead anyway) but yeah it's supposed to be upgraded in some way.
