I didn't really feel that way with Nioh 2 myself, I didn't play a lot of nioh.

I didn't get into sekiro as much cause it felt too slow paced, constantly waiting out attacks and block&parry

Wo Long kinda forces you to go into high risk high reward combat. As you are in a combo you'll need to dodge out of it toward an attacker to deflect the attacks on top of critical blows that will reduce your temporary strength if they hit you. If a critical blow is deflected it hits thier stamina for a huge chuck allowing for big counters. With fortitude levels during each zone you grow stronger through the level the better you do.

Bosses seem to be mostly a dance of waiting out critical blows to deflect and spirit counter.

This is based solely on the second round demo that was released within the last week.

I really enjoyed it so far. The deflection takes a little to get used too and very unforgiving if you mess it up but when you start to get the flow down its super action packed battles cause you don't really need to stop attacking if you deflect right.
