You pay the screen replacement price if they only replace the screen. Youâre paying the full 79 because youâre getting a replacement device by using Express replacement.
In that link you shared thereâs a section that says âExpress Replacement Service: weâll send you a replacement device so you donât have to wait for a repair3â so if you go down to footnote number three explains it. Itâs also a link to https://support.apple.com/en-gb/iphone/repair/express-replacement that states this info, too.

It was weird at first making sure the phone wasnât too close to my face. I donât even notice it 9 times of 10 itâs that simple. Iâm going to be looking at my phone anyways so I pick it up, one easy swipe and Iâm in. No holding my finger/thumb in a specific spot. I do still have Touch ID on my work iPad and it feels more delayed using my print anymore, but donât mind it either.
