Where I live we have trees everywhere lol. We have trees that come down every winter storm too. So we have the same issues. I have not had a single outrage here and I have lived here for 2 years even when one of our trees did fall down. I lived in WA before that where we also had trees that came down and still didn't have an outage there for decades. Both of these places have windstorms and we still don't deal with power outages frequently. There is something else wrong with their power grid or staffing, it's not just trees and lines.

People who think this means anything don't know anything about the actual economy that they live in. Jobless claims don't mean anything in America because most people who lose their jobs don't get unemployment and we don't count all unemployed people in our unemployment statistics.

It's kind of meaningless when the largest portion of these populations aren't counted in the statistics.

I don't know man all their social media basically them being hateful to everyone in that area... And it wasn't like they weren't hateful to them before the war I mean I've seen videos of them literally going to Ukrainian streamers and harassing them. I'm not so sure that the narrative works.

It's called credit. The vast majority of Americans are over leveraged.

https://www.deseret.com/u-s-world/2022/8/1/23287145/latest-inflation-report-explained-americans-are-over-leveraged-and-still-spending

And 48% of Americans that make 100K or more are still living paycheck to paycheck

https://ir.lendingclub.com/news/news-details/2022/48-Percent-of-Americans-with-Annual-Incomes-over-100000-Live-Paycheck-to-Paycheck-9-percentage-points-higher-than-first-reported-in-June-2021/default.aspx

It's almost like we're living in a house of cards and at some point it's all going to come crashing down...

Of course it has but changes in it can still happen. This idea that viruses are unchanging I don't understand as we clearly know they're not. So being around forever doesn't mean anything. The common cold has been around forever too and COVID still happened.
