Portuguese thing. I grew up in Connecticut and had never seen it until I met my husband. His parents have one in the basement that doesn’t get used, they use the upstairs one. But his aunt only uses the downstairs kitchen. I’ve only seen her upstairs kitchen once in eight years and we go there for every major holiday. Seemed strange to me at first but I don’t even think of it anymore.

We went to Capital Grill after we eloped and have been back every year for our anniversary.

Green Basil on Mineral Springs for sure. Husband and I drive like forty minutes each way to go there every few months.

Tasca is the worst. By far. They had my car for six weeks because it was making a loud noise, told me I couldn’t have it back because the transmission was taken apart. Finally got it back, same noise. Took it to Flood, explained my Tasca fiasco, the guy called me an hour later to say my transmission had never even been touched.
