One of the most prevailing memories of driving through Arizona was the silence. Out in the desert, away from busy roads, feeling a bit of a warm breeze and maybe hearing some birds. It was still, silent, and so beautiful. I need to do that road trip again.

Had a very "hands-on" husky mix who, when he was anxious, would jump onto my bed and stick his feet in my face in some kind of weird attempt to get as close to me as possible. I loved how his feet smelled!

During a flight we hit a big spot of turbulence and even with my seatbelt on I still felt like I was levitating out of my seat. Everything rattled so loud it sounded like the plane was being torn apart. I would have loved to see how much we dropped in that first 30 seconds, haha! It was a crazy ride. Keep that seatbelt on at all times!

That's interesting. I guess I'm more of a furnace because I'm most comfortable at 20C (68F). I like feeling a bit of cool on my skin. I work in a place where some days we have a lot of open flame and I get cranky when it gets over 22C (72F). I live in western Canada, though, so maybe I'm just acclimatized to long winters.

It boggles my mind how people do stuff like that and sleep at night. I have a relative who has great disdain for other people - they look after themselves first and only - and I have long suspected they are sociopathic. You said "had". Did either of you move away? I hope you have better neighbors now!
