Fair enough, first I've ever heard of it.

Standard practice? Maybe in the Victorian era.

Is it true that most one-legged people steal their shoes from shop displays?

Am I the only one who hates that "living rent free in someone's mind"? If I suddenly think of someone I haven't seen or thought of in 20 years does that mean they've been living in my mind "rent-free"?

It's a Yellow Headed Amazon. But on that note, we've had an African Gray in the family for about 30 years. One time it was perching on my shoulder and my uncle asked someone to take a photo of me, him and my sister. He tried to put an arm around my shoulder and the bird went crazy, it jumped onto my face and dug it's claw into my nose and then started try to fly away. I was a bloody mess.
