I've found a lot of anime adaptations for games end up feeling more fast-paced and like a promo anime instead of a proper series. Going off The World Ends With You & Scarlet Nexus anime adaptations.

Absolutely loved it, shame it was marketed a bit more as a kid show. The writing is absolutely stellar, and it's just like the films. Whilst it can be enjoyed by kids, it's got plenty of deaths and dark scenes too.
