I just bought a Riccar Cordless Supralite Lightweight Upright Vacuum (R10CV10) based on online reviews from a vacuum repair guy. It’s extremely lightweight and easy to use but it was also quite expensive - $809 WITH the discount I requested. I am unable to lift and struggled with cords so it works well for me. I am easily able to carry it upstairs to vacuum.
On the downside:
It must be recharged often as the charge only lasts about an hour.
There is no “full bag” indicator so one must unzip the outer bag to determine fullness level (not difficult).

One must buy replaceable bags.
