Emu, I was at the fair one year and tried to touch its feathers and it beaked me on top of the head. It hurt a bit, but I was otherwise ok.

Is nice! (Seriously though, the amount of humor that guy gets out of just interacting with people is worth note; it's not transgressive comedy for its own sake; there's some genuine critique going on).

They've recently become sentient, and they dart behind the milk whenever I open the fridge door to take something out, like everything is perfectly normal.

Create an artwork or do a craft of some kind, something where a physical object will result at the end. Then do it again, either the same type of project or a different one.
