Honestly, everywhere in Worcester is going to have students. We are a huge city, with lots of colleges spread out across all corners. And students also tend to like the amenities you desire.

Shrewsbury Street is closest to the medical school though, so most will be older students more likely to be studying than partying if it’s noise/ambiance you’re worried about.

Shrewsbury Street.

Shrewsbury Street has plenty of old school 3 deckers, an old converted factory loft style building, a converted school, and two larger modern apartment buildings under construction if that's more your thing.

Walking distance to a park, gym, hair salon/barbershops, restaurants, night entertainment, arcade, coffee shop, butcher shop, bakery, diner, and the train station. While you could walk, the road to get the actual park is kind of far, but Green Hill Park offers a real secluded escape from the city and is very close.

Super markets you'll have to drive, but it's a five minute drive to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or Shaws.

I take my soft-top Jeep Wrangler to Big Kahuna in Auburn. Two touchless bays. Their soaps and product are never watered down like some of the other car washes I have been too.

(Also Rock n' Road Outfitters is two minutes down the street if you need any Jeep accessories/work!)

Audette's and Advanced Auto Body on Park Ave are two that routinely praised on Reddit.

If you use the search you will find lots of auto body related threads with some other options. But those two always bubble up to the top.

All of the projects sound like a parking nightmare...

  • 163 one- and two-bedroom apartments, below-ground garage offering 107 spaces
  • 145 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, the plans show that some of the current open space at the property would be preserved for use by residents.
  • 108 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, parking garage would include 62 parking spaces and a semi-automated, two-level car stacking system

Yup, impact has almost every machine imaginable. The leg room is awesome too.

It’s very crowded and cramped though, the one downside. Things are packed in tight. I wish it had a larger turf area as well. Makes things like lunges/sled pulls/farmer walks hard.

Worst case, contact your credit card company and dispute the charge. Just let them know it was automated, you paid, didn't get the wash, and made a good faith effort to contact the business for a refund but was unable to.

Does she live in Worcester proper? If so she should make sure she is enrolled in the cheaper city brokered electric rates, it’s supposed to be automatic. https://www.masspowerchoice.com/worcester

If she is in one of the surrounding towns, she should shop around for a the cheapest electricity provider: https://energyswitchma.gov

In both cases National Grid is still delivering and billing the power, this just effects the supplier.
