The first season of the show has only eight episodes.

Well that's not an indicator of an established relationship really. All these companies sell shows to each other when they don't want the show for themselves or someone is paying more. Abbott Elementary is made by WB for Disney. Disney makes Central Park for Apple. Sony makes The Boys for Amazon. WB made The Sandman for Netflix. The list can keep going on.

The big reason that Apple would acquire WB for is their library. Being one of the big five Hollywood corporations, they have so much IP and library depth that Apple can exploit for their streaming service.

It's good for WB because it'll be very easy for Apple to get rid of all debt that WB has built over the years. Or maybe Apple can keep WB and spin off all the debt along with Discovery into a different company and keep WB for themselves.

They announce the cast for shows much later sometimes. That doesn't mean they were just cast yesterday. They have finished shooting and they are now announcing the cast that they haven't announced earlier to get more headlines.

Oh and it'll have only two seasons.

That actually makes a lot more sense than Apple buying Disney.

I just wish they finally make these shows available in India officially.

Bob Chapek announced the hiring freezing a couple of days before he was fired. He announced it a few days after bad quarterly financial report. Bob Iger is continuing the hiring freeze.

The Verge and some other big publishers made it worse by writing an article about it.

Selling their stake means losing 45 million subscribers and a lot of content that Hulu directly owns. I think they don't want to do that. Also, they are in an already competitive market and they don't want to strengthen Comcast or anyone else's position by serving Hulu on a platter. This is my theory but it also logically makes sense to me at least.

While it is true for the US and Latin America, those Fox assets are used to a much greater effect on Disney+ in other territories. Disney+ is not just a babysitter service internationally. They have all the FX, Hulu and 20th Television shows which are the best part of Disney+ imo. I believe that if it wasn't for Hulu, they'd have brought everything to Disney+ in the US. But as long as Comcast owns a portion of Hulu they can't kill and have no option but to maintain that service.

I watched Community for the first time on Sony LIV and they always used to ruin the Abed and Troy gags at the end of the episode. Most of the time it would just skip to the next episode before the gag finished. It was so annoying.

The Patient and Fleishman Is In Trouble are two very recent examples.

Disney+ would be so successful if these shows were movies. Turner & Hooch, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye and probably a lot of other shows I haven't watched. They have a problem of taking shallow ideas that would work as a movie and turning them into shows.

Leave the dude alone for one second. Anyone in his place would've taken the role considering how big 'The Witvher' is. The only entity that needs to be blamed here is Netflix for not making sure that the writers they hired cared for the show they were making.

Regardless of their recognition, most of the cast is extremely good at delivering the material they are given. There are some flaws with the written material for sure but it could easily improve with the upcoming seasons. I liked the show regardless of those issues, mostly ig because I watched it myself before reading tons of unnecessary reviews and articles with an agenda.
