Only you can answer that. Depends which system has the most games you want to play, the best services for you, the better feeling controller and the best OS to use.

Personally my PS5 was a waste of money as there are no games on it I want, the analogue sticks are in a bad configuration, and the OS is rubbish, but you may like all those things

So yeah, it's up to you

No exclusives that I want to play. I'm not really into those 3rd person set piece full of cutscene games. So it's not for me.

Only bought it to play Bloodborne and Demons Souls.

Xbox is much better for me as it's way cheaper than building an up to date PC and has GamePass

My Mrs has an S (I have the X) and there's not a huge noticeable difference. She plays on a 24" 1080p monitor. (While I use the 58" 4K TV). It's an amazing bit of kit, especially for the price. And GamePass is a steal.

Personally I haven't found my PS5 to be worth it all. The interface isn't as nice and the exclusive games aren't my bag.

Get a series S. I don't think you'd regret it.
