Would some of the coughing be due to the scar tissue healing like when scabs itch like mad? Or is it all down to the secondary invaders?

The LT got over 300 hours of unpaid suspension, two rank demotion and 5 years of probation during which they're ineligible for promotion and if they fuck up *at all* they are fired. The other guy lost his EMT cert also.

The (former) lietenant is a 22 year department veteran. Their career is basically over because they trusted the word of the cop instead of doing their jobs for themselves.

Meanwhile I've seen bouncers beat the shit out of people and literally throw them out of bars. IDK what the legal protections are if any for bartenders operating as their own bouncer, but actual bouncers seem to have a fair amount of confidence in working rowdy patrons over that's lead me to assume they have some amount of legal protection normal staff dont have.

I know that I've probably just watched too many movies, but damn if that doesn't sound like they murdered that lawyer. O.O
