If it's working mostly the same, what's the difference if it's original or a knockoff?

If there's a choice I choose 60fps or in case of competitive FPS above 60. Anything over 144fps is pleasing to the eye, but has diminishing returns reaction-wise and puts exponential strain on hardware.

30fps is absolutely playable for portability, power saving or if hardware can't do more. I can tolerate occasional dips to 20s for the same reasons

PC player exclusively for 10 years and mixed consoles/PC another 10 years.

IMO consoles ain't worth shit this generation. No worthy exclusives or experiences to justify the purchase. You can play almost everything on a PC for cheaper and same amount of hassle with updates and downloads. Even the new games have 1st day patches now. Just popping the disc in and playing isn't an option now.

But if you don't have a PC I guess going with Xbox this gen is better due to gamepass

If you're on a tight budget and you play one game for a long time switch is the way to go.

If you can spend 600-1300$ on your handheld, you should probably look into other windows based handhelds like Ayaneo Air that are as small and light as switch but can also run your steam library.

But if you think there's a chance you can overcome SD's bulkiness it's 100% the best choice out of everything for today's market

With bad data reads you get either scrambled data or zeros. Both can either make your game glitchy or freeze, to get you to the ending movie your game has to get specific commands and data sequence that's impossible to get due to bad disc read
