So is this a non-profit that’s gonna be propped up by successful artists or something? They spend most of the article kinda laying out why it can’t possibly be a profitable venture but don’t really address how that will work. Otherwise it just seems like hipster fever dream of mish mashed cool but esoteric ideas
Edit: there is a line in there about Ars Nova being funded by grants and that ticket sales will only be 20% of the bankroll. I guess the fountain porter guy gets all the drink/food business and they get a place to stage their shows, while splitting the rent. Odd setup but I guess it might work. Still seems like it will have a short shelf life if I had to guess
5th definitely feels like northern liberties all the way from spring garden to girard. 6-7th is brackish except below fairmount which is bad news obviously
wtf is with this section of the city? It's gotta be some of the most inefficient use of valuable real estate in a major city
