Try radiohead. My favorites are Karma police, paranoid android, 15 step, Ful stop and weird fishes. To me radiohead feels like a more depressed version of twentyonepilots.
If you want something upbeat i would recommend instrumental math rock. It sounds unique because the genre consists of songs that use odd time signatures, which feel "alive", you can find plenty of playlists with it on youtube.
