Sometimes, the multi lane, multi light crosswalks are even more harrowing. Even a simple intersection like Grove and Thompson? Turning cars never look. People specifically gun it to make it through a red. I look five different ways before crossing there because I have almost been hit there from every direction. I can't even speak about the "crossing" of Thompson/Floyd that's on the highway side. I agree everyone should be predictable and respectful of the ways of the road, but these crossings need major help

When I looked up Perlys on Google and expanded their hours, it listed Saturday through Tuesday as closed and said, "updated by business 5 days ago." Thanks for the heads up, though. I'll give them a call tomorrow and hope they are actually open !

Edit - looking at their socials now, I don't see any posts since last year...getting a little nervous again but still holding out hope for both of us to get latkes this weekend

I live in a near West End corporate complex and love it. Multiple, easy, convenient ways to pay rent, neighborhood events, on-site maintenance. Rent is never raised a crazy amount, pest control comes by on a quarterly basis. Easy parking, green spaces for little ones (and a dog park too if that's what you're into)

Sorry to hear about your infertility struggle💜 I think Richmond is great for single women in terms of lifestyle - I participate in a lot of crafty hobbies and I always meet a lot of single 30-40 year old women in those groups who are living their best life - friend vacations, meet ups, concerts, etc. And the beach is still close !

I have always had a great experience at Target Willow Lawn with Dr. Gates. He has a "separate" office door to the left of the main entrance, he is not actually in the store. I had one not so great experience at Grove Eye Care, but that was three years ago and I never went back after that, maybe someone who is a long term patient there has a better perspective.

Second this. Orchestra is only very slightly sloped, the one time I sprung for it I missed seeing the entire show due to some of the tallest, broadest dudes I've ever seen being right in front of me - life lesson learned, orchestra is not worth the risk!
