I used to work at a pet store as a night supervisor, keep in mind I was a teenager and scared of grown-ups. I wouldn't let someone push me around like this now. Anyway. We were usually open until 9pm but on Sundays it was 5pm and people really didn't know so they would stick around a lot and sometimes we had to get on the intercom and say please complete your purchases blah blah blah. Usually everyone was gone after 15/20 minutes max.

Anyway, one day this guy was just staring at the fish and he wouldn't fucking leave, we talked to him, we vacuumed, cleaned, turned off the lights, I let out all the other employees, long story short he stayed for 45 minutes after close until finally meekly approached him and said the registers would automatically be shutting down soon (which was true) and he screamed in my face and launched a campaign to get me fired that lasted for actual months. He kept trying to get me write down the number of my "regional manager" which we didn't even have bc this was a small family-owned business. Then tried to get me to give the owner's personal number.

Just saying, I would have rather dealt with Richard and/or Richard's methods.

Not surprised tbh. You've killed. You've bargained with the devil. You had a vaguely bestial sauna orgy and you've possibly fucked a demon (or however Jacek identifies). I'm not kinkshaming or hellshaming for that matter. Who wants to spend eternity with a bunch of goody two-shoes and your shitty dad?

I think I'm getting old because I never get things on the first take anymore. My question is whether the statue lady was always bad and the dreamcatcher just made it worse (kind of like a really mean wolf who later contracted rabies) or if the dreamcatcher somehow caused the entrance of a separate nightmare or entity that was crueler and more powerful, that drove the original nightmare away. Could someone please clarify if I have this right:

  1. The dream catcher caused a separate, evil nightmare to slowly overtake what used to be a regular nightmare until the evil was all that was left and --
  2. --regular nightmare (statue lady) peaced out, breaking the dreamcatcher and letting the evil nightmare complete the transition to the rotten form that is haunting OP
