5 stars: I loved it and will reread it.
4 stars: Great book but i would not read again / loved it overall but had some boring parts.
3 stars: It was ok but nothing stood out in a good or bad way / good book but bad ending / good but forgetable.
2 stars: Had some good parts or beginning but was bad overall / boring but good written / good story but dragging and badly written.
1 star: dnf book / badly written / whole book was boring / nothing was good about it

Many people have that problem, but atleast you are mature enough to selfreflect and notice such things. In the past i might also have been like that but nowadays idc much about it. I can proudly say that i liked twillight and Ends with us and its the best feeling to be content with ones feelings instead of going with the opinion of the mass.

I got the same problem and i dont have any solution. I try to keep my tbr list as small as possible, which helps to not be too stressed but i still got the urge to read everything at once and knowing that i wont get through them in the next 2 years is dreadfull

bc books that are trending on booktok are just books that are liked be a lot of people and if you keep seeing them, you will think that they must be good and so you give it a try. Booktok just means its a popular book and hence gets recommended a lot on tiktok. You also have to keep in mind that just bc you didnt like a book,it doesnt mean others cant enjoy it. I also read "It ends with us" and i liked it but i k ow that the author is greatly hated on in the booktok communtiy, so its kind of funny that you mentioned her.

I didnt say that i live by these 6 "lessons", so it doesnt matter if i do sth that is not according to these points. I am just saying that this book seems unoriginal, if this is all one gets out of out.
