Not really, given that you were trying to blame it on Islam when it is completely irrelevant because it wouldn't matter what they were protesting - the exact same thing would happen [edit: when some dumbass runs out onto the field in the middle of an event]. And would happen anywhere else in the world.

What's religion got to do with it? Where in the world will someone who runs out onto the field in the middle of a game NOT be ejected, usually in handcuffs, and banned from the stadium/event?

Translation: He was treated like any other dumbass who runs out onto a sports field pretty much anywhere else in the world.

And by "misinformation" they mean "anything the USA's official enemies say that contradicts the USA's position on a subject".

Won't be Mastodon, though. Not when people realize that it is, by design, already in the same mess Twitter soon will be with unaccountable individuals (rather than boards or committees, who at least have to compromise with each other) making the rules about what you can send and see on a node-by-node basis (like subreddits with a single mod, but worse since the person who runs the node doesn't have any network-wide content rules they have to obey).

What other sorta-real-time, mobile micro-blogging platforms are there to move to that have enough people to make switching away from Twitter even vaguely realistic?
