Alabama does indeed have lax gun laws, but I don't think those laws had anything to do with this. Owning a handgun is perfectly legal in every state. All Miller is known to have done is receive texts from Miles asking him to bring his (Miles) gun to him. Miles then provided that gun to the other guy, who committed the murder. Without being able to prove that Miller knew that the handgun would be used for a murder, there really isn't anything that would be a crime in Alabama or any other state unless Miller himself had a criminal history that prohibited his possessing a handgun, even briefly.

I do suppose that some states have different laws as to what age you have to be to even possess a handgun (as Miller did have sole possession of a handgun at least for the time it took to retrieve it and deliver it). In Alabama, the age is 19. He might have been legally too young to deliver the handgun in some other states, admittedly.

Yup, similar with my wife. My kid was mostly on formula for the first several weeks as well for the same reason.

My mother revealed to me that both my brother and I were 100% formula, which I had not known. However, the reason for that was that the doctor (late 60s) told her that breastfeeding would ruin her figure so she didn't do it. :)

Norway doesn't have Canada beat for wildlife no, just in natural beauty. I rank Norway higher than what I have seen of Alaska also. It's not a huge difference, mind you, just that my trip to Norway (traveling slowly from Bergen to Alesund) was the most beautiful travel experience of my life so far.

Maybe an unpopular opinion with Kiwis, but I spent a week in the Canadian Rockies last fall (my second time there) and just got back from 10 days on the south island of New Zealand. I really didn't see much at all in New Zealand that was markedly more beautiful than what you can see in the Jasper/Lake Louise/Banff corridor. Not to mention, thanks to New Zealand's almost complete lack of indigenous mammals, Canada has much, much better wildlife to go with its natural geologic beauty.

That said, Norway has them both beat. :)

Wow, small world. I ate at that restaurant when I was there this past January. We stopped here after spending a few nights in Poas and then doing the La Paz waterfall place just down the road that morning.

I'll say this. I love arroz con pollo and had it at least a half dozen times in different places while in CR and this place had the best of the lot.
