OP made $61 delivering from 2 restaurants in Monroeville to 2 different locations in Wilkinsburg and Swissvale. This is ubereats and they’ve started doing a “bidding” system on orders. Normally ubereats (the app) makes out like bandits because they will charge the customer one price and normally find a driver for a lower price. For instance, if they charge the customer $20 for an order they might start asking drivers to accept the order at $5, then if no one accepts it they’ll up it to $6. In this instance not a lot of drivers were delivering to Wilkinsburg (according to op) the trip ended up being $30 with a $30 tip on top (from 2 different customers).

That’s the weird thing. Century III and Monroeville malls both had a sort of “golden age”. But Pittsburgh mills was just always in decline.

Yeah, these 3rd party apps have started assigning 3+ pick ups per trip for drivers in busy areas like Squirrel Hill.

This is kiin lao, I’ve picked up from here before (and maybe they changed) but they’ve never done driver self pick-up. You normally have to get the order from someone at the counter. Looks like OP said that it wasn’t even the right restaurant, my guess is the driver was assigned multiple orders and messed up and gave him the other customers order.

Well if it gets shut down next week, then we know OP is a cop.
