It wasn’t a nightmare i was wide awake.. it was a shadow person. Although the head was just black like the body and not like the picture. But the body of the picture was identical

no joke i saw this when i was a kid about 7 .. it appeared from the hallway when I was staring at the open door at night. i came slowly towards me while its head turned and jittered till it was right near my face. i got so fucking freaked out. i did what any kid would do and hide under my covers for hours till i could barely breath.. when i looked out slowly, i saw nothing. still gives me chills to this day. im 36 now
