About 10 years ago, a woman around the corner from me killed her toddler & stabbed her unborn baby. Like stabbed herself in her pregnant belly. Her husband was just gone for 20 mins to pick up their Chinese takeout & came home to that.

Lol! Me too. Thankfully this storm hit & my small town in northern VT has no power so I can’t go up for a few days.
But it sucks they have no power, it is supposed to drop from 57 (now) to 6 degrees by 6am.

Kinda makes me feel better about paying $2,100/mo in rent for a three bdrm, 1 bath, w/d, in quincy. At least I don’t have to mow/plow or suddenly have to buy a new water heater. Or worry about crumbling foundations. I write one check a month & don’t worry about a thing.

I came across “BIANAL” today …. But I Am Not A Lawyer. My first thought was something sexual, so I stopped paying attention & moved on.
Once my boss used “FWIW” in a group email & no one had a clue what it meant. he apologized & explained it means “for what it’s worth”.
