The whole area was turned into condos years later. I kinda wonder if the portal was destroyed or if it's still hiding under there, waiting for someone to find it in a hundred years or a thousand...
Yeah I think it was a beneficial thing in retrospect. I was the most mature eighth grader anyone had ever met after that. But I went through a lot to get there. I'll have lived two full lives by the end of it all, and no one else I've met can say that. There have been a lot of bad days but a lot of really good ones too.
Oooh I love penguins I didn't know they had those! Just check the tags and make sure they're from a reputable supplier. Not, y'know, portal stuffies...
I've been trying, but the man is a ghost. And there's no way to figure out where that island is as far as I can tell. It's like he's scrubbed Google Earth and all other satellite imagery, to erase his presence from anyone who would try to find him... My best chance to kill him again will probably be next year. If I can survive again.
Thanks. I wish I could breathe a sigh of relief but it's hard to sleep at night knowing I'm gonna go back to that place again one day. I just hope I can survive again next year...
Yeah, I get the feeling he underestimated me and thought he could save a bullet, or prevent exposing his location by killing me with hand to hand combat. Lucky for me I saw that coming.
Too bad, though. He seemed like a nice enough guy. We might have been friends in a different life.
