Sorry for the late reply. Yes. You could save it to iCloud Drive then delete it off the photos app. They would remain in your iCloud Drive. You could make a folder in your drive and name it something like “photo library” and dump all the photos there or if you want to organize a bit you can date them like “Photos 2018” and then just move photos from that year there.

It didn’t feel repetitive to me tbh but I kind of made it a goal to use all of Jesse’s abilities. The Meta for Control is to just spam launch and that can make the combat boring. Not saying that’s what you did OP, but changing things up made combat way more fun for me. Was it optimal? Hell no. Fun? Yes

Friend who works at the store just confirmed with me front and back glass damage would just be a full unit swap and that would be $99 under apple care+ (USA). If just the rear, then it’s a rear system repair for $29 UNLESS they have AppleCare SERVICES which is basically just AppleCare through the carrier. In that case the rear system repair would be $99 as if they are swapping the whole phone.

Hm… if your mom lives near an Apple Store maybe you could change the region on the website to check for store stock in her area. Then purchase it and set her as the pick up person. Although no idea if this would work. I’ve been able to do this for other countries but I’ve never actually bought it. Plus I’m not sure if your credit card would charge you a conversion fee.

If you live near a store it’s not that hard to get. I’ve gotten a lot of pros for family and friends and just picked up a silver 256 pro yesterday. It just requires you to be diligent and check the website a lot throughout the day. Particularly on weekdays when they get shipments. Keep in mind though that they sometimes only get a dozen units maybe and it can sell fast.

Same, I started this year though because now they look seamless. While I’ve never cracked my screen or gotten visible scratches I have gotten one or two micro abrasions, which are incredibly light scratches you can only see in very direct light as specific angles. It bothers me despite not seeing it in regular use and now that screen protectors are just near edge to edge rectangles I figured I would get oneS oh and it also helps that a friend of mine who works in one of the stores was able to hook me up on a protector

Do you live near an Apple Store? I heard they usually get a small surge of stock on Black Friday since they know people start shopping and go drive in store engagement. Check apple.com throughout the day, particularly around 2-4pm is when I’ve been able to snag an online order for in-store pick up. I need to get another pro for a friend and betting on getting one today for them.

They also have some in store that don’t show up on the website for pickup. Essentially, if they have like one or two units then it doesn’t show up and it can only be bought through walk-in. If you ask one of them salespeople to check if another store has a certain model in stock they can see the few units that don’t show up on the official website. Then from there you can call up the store that has it and have them make a reservation for it for you. When I did this (the employee will not call for you) they told me the reservation is good for 3 hours and after that it gets released back into normal stock.

OP, check apple website and app constantly tomorrow. There’s no way Apple hasn’t stockpiled a decent amount of phones in anticipation for Black Friday. Even with a shortage, it’s possible they’ve been only drip feeding stores a few units so that they can have a decent amount for tomorrow. There’s gonna be a lot of people beginning their shopping and coming into the stores and so they are likely going to have pros tomorrow so as to not disappoint customers.

I’ll report back with results since I’m also looking for a phone for someone who doesn’t live near a store.

Do you pay your cellphone bill with a credit card? Some credit cards cover accidents and theft/loss for phones on your plan if you pay your bill with it. Some credit cards also extend your warranty if you bought the decide with the credit card.

If you don’t have one that does this and are interested I can name a few that do this

Very likely a hardware issue. You could try to connect to a computer and restore but after that if it’s not working still then it’s pretty much what I would chuck up to as hardware. If it's a 12 and above then the store can do a rear system repair which would probably cost a lot without applecare or some kind of coverage. If it's an older phone they can only replace the whole phone which would also be expensive.

Mads is actually who Sapkowski (the author) wanted as Geralt originally many years before netflix “adapted” it.

Unfortunately he’s too old now. Tbh there’s a bunch of people who imo would’ve been perfect for a faithful adaptation but are simply too old now, especially considering how long the show would go on for. Mads as Geralt, Eva Green as Yennefer, David Tennant as Dandelion (jaskier).
