I mean, I think it might have some implications of stunting the grieving process for some. It might be unhealthy for some. It might also be good for others. It's hard to say really.

I know there are people I wish I could see again and talk to and hear them laugh. Maybe on their birthday or on a holiday, sit down with some whiskey and pour your heart out. Cry and grieve.

I could also see some Miss Havisham types who would interact every day and lose some sense of reality and get kind of fucked up with it.

Actual consciousness? There would be a lot of issues around legality and personhood. Can a person exist like that and not go insane? That's a tough one.

I think it is perfectly achievable....until it isn't. That is to say as soon as one tiny little thing throws off the delicate balance of a closed system, there is collapse.

I avoided this because Lost was such a let down. I generally don't like mystery boxes and it sounds like 18 hours into it and you still aren't getting any answers. Like lost. Some of the shit will never make sense or be answered I would fear, and that has kept me from watching this show.

Right, but what you have done is cut out many many many hours of work. Those are people's jobs. Gone. Now a team will definitely polish it, but AI gives you a massive headstart without the need of paying pesky humans to do it.

It's really fucking good. I don't know if there are really cult shows anymore, because everything is so widely available, but this is a very underrated show to say the least.

What is left is a gritty realism that might be hard for some people to accept. I have to say, it's one thing not to love the characters, but to not find anything interesting in the characters in The Wire?

If they paid me hundreds of thousands of dollars to do some voicework on a show...I would endorse that show, whether or not Cardiokills on reddit subjectively viewed me as an asshole for doing it would not factor in.

It is the only authentic police procedural I have ever seen. It tells the story of the crime in Baltimore and looks at it from every possible angle. If it was lost on you and all you see is cops chasing robbers, don't know what to tell you except this: You are free to not like it, but you are not free to tell me why I do.

It's fine if you like it, but to pretend it isn't shit is disingenuous. I liked Adventures of Pluto Nash....but I completely understand that it is shit.

Clean costumes is a big problem on these WB style fantasy shows. Don't know if they are renting the costumes, or only bought one, or what....but it makes me very aware they are wearing a costume. The design is usually kind of shit as well. Like large pieces of toga style cloth. Shit you could almost make with little experience.

The writing is campy and samey. The diverse cast of characters is fine, but give different ethnic groups different regions and cultures. This homogenized stuff is difficult to watch. I mean, especially if it is in someone else's world in which people looked different depending on region and culture.

I don't really know who they are making these shows for.

OH man, during Rings of Power's debut all my feeds were flooded with "It's not a piece of shit show" article after article. Which is how you know a show is awful if there is weeks long PR campaign trying to convince people it isn't shit.
