If you buy a toyota for $5k and the repair guy quotes $6k you just scrap it. If the Tesla repair guy quotes $9k in repairs then you either pay up or sell it at a fraction of the msrp.

Replacing the computer hardware or heat pumps in a Tesla can't be cheap either. Not saying IC engines are better than electric but a $50k luxury vehicle is going to cost more in repairs than a $5k Toyota Corolla.

I guess my office isn't the only one pushing for return to office. How can they blame a slight drop in productivity on WFH when we just recovered from a pandemic?

Productivity dropped slightly but no that couldn't be because of a pandemic or inflation, it must be office meetings that were driving record growth.

They told me to return to office and I ignored them. Called their bluff, been waiting for the hammer to drop but it doesn't seem like it's happening. Seems like it's 50/50 with half my coworkers complying and the other half not. I'm ready to die on this hill.

I wish he would endorse Medicare for All but still better than a Republican.
