I think everyone needs to hold judgment until we can see the body camera footage. Those cops most likely knew this family, as they are fairly well known in the area. Instead of people shitting on the cops or family they need to wait and get all the facts before judgment. For now I choose to be sad for the family who lost a son, brother and uncle. As well as the cops who could have lasting mental damage themselves from taking the life of a child. This is truly a tragedy, and my heart breaks because they are a very good hearted family. We do not have nearly enough mental health support in NH.

Come for a visit and see as much of the state as you can. Go where you feel is the best fit for you. The best fit is different for everyone, so enjoy the adventure. Just remember, our lifestyle here is much different than that of NYC and MA, so if you want to fit in don’t force any of that lifestyle on the locals. NH is a wonderful place to live and I like that where I live seems to be very laid back and common sense led. I have raised my 2 girls here and I can’t imagine having raised them anywhere else.

Laconia: Best: the lake, work, some of the neighborhoods, youth sports leagues and some of the other outdoorsy type stuff. The bad: some of the neighborhoods, the homelessness and the school system. Side note: I’m not to usually complain about schools. I know teachers are under funded and under paid. That being said we have lost good people in the school system due to high ups being part of a good ol boys club. I have brought up concerns here and there and am met with snide comments by administrators. Along with high school teachers pushing kids on how to think and how they should vote. Voting to me and how I raised my kids is a private matter that we raised our kids to find what’s important to them and then support whoever best represents that with them.
