Sending humans to the moon on old, expensive technology is not valuable.
Moon launches should be a way to innovate and get costs down to move us towards a more sustainable(eventually self-sustaining) space program.

Crew Dragon is getting a lot more reliable than Space Shuttle at least. The F9 itself maintains an absurd launch cadance and the upper stage itself is relatively simple.

Sure, but large scale storage and overproduction significantly increase the cost.

They are being built, but they are not being built rapidly.
Price drops have also slowed significantly the last few years.

Byproducts are chlorine and caustic, both of which are in high demand

So look at environmental reporting, not much gets done on remediation and improvements. There are a ton of hazardous substances that we were dumping into the water 40 years ago that we aren't anymore, but it doesn't drive nearly as much engagement so doesn't get reported on as much.

People who spend a lot of time online tend to be depressed and not have great lives.
Those people also determine the content for subreddits.

Because it isn't actually sourced from renewables. People keep selling that, while actually sourcing the hydrogen from natural gas.

Regarding prices, AI might be eating up all the new chips for years to come. Jacking prices up.

Yep, ChatGTP is a tool. It can speed up things like writing reports and coding. It can't(yet) do it without human supervision though.

Then they are doing a bad job of it. Ariane 6 will still be far more expensive than a Falcon 9.
And Starship will blow both of them out of the water.

Well this thing won't launch until 2024 at earliest, so not very good shade.

SpaceX has several Falcon 9s, with significant bandwidth from Starlink missions even if something happens to one.
