I doubt Costco actually provides insurance. They are a third party reseller.

In the past, Costco was able to get good discounts on things like car insurance, car rentals, vacation packages etc, but nowadays it is always cheaper to book direct. Brands make it much hard to use third party services in today’s world and if you have issues, it is much harder to get help from the brand you are using due to booking through a third party.

That’s for occupant safety. Cars nowadays have seat mat sensors to deactivate from passenger airbags to prevent injury for small passengers.

Any modern car will not allow you disable the safety system easily, especially just by pulling a fuse. Not to mention most will store permanent fault codes that need a scan tool to reset if you tamper with the system.

It would have to completely choke off the intake for it to starve the motor for air. I don’t see that being possible considering most factory, unmodified cars have an air box with a filter panel that would be too large for a stuffed up paper towel to affect. It could definitely obstruct airflow but I highly doubt it would choke it off completely.

There is still air inside the motor when it’s shut off so it should at least fire a few times before getting choked out/starved for air.

I wouldn’t reach out to HR, I’d reach out to him. Explain what you’ve explained here and go from there. There’s no way to tell how he will react but the important thing is that you try and work this out with him directly. HR doesn’t need to get involved unless he wants them too

I doubt this is a logistics error. I doubt Apple would ever sell retail on Amazon. Why would Apple sell through a third party and give away profits? Selling through cell and data carriers is an exception.

High dollar items like this are resold through Amazon sellers but I doubt they go through Amazon fulfillment, which is where the scam takes place. Amazon sellers list the item, but ship some other bs item instead. Same concept as eBay

For this to work, the bungees need to be pre-tensioned so when the door is closed, they are pulling the door shut. However it may be hard to open the door enough to actually use the garbage.

Maybe springs would be better suited for this.

You could also maybe use a pulley system with a weight at the back of the cabinet/garbage can
