I had a waiter the other day that was a dead ringer for Christopher Meloni, and it gave me the idea to rewatch it. I feel like we noticed so many more details this time. Now we're on the prequel episodes, which are a lot funnier than I remembered! I think watching the movie first really set the mood.

Thanks! In the prequel he's engaged to Gail, so I guess they decided to drop that entirely.

Great movie. I was shocked this didn't win Best Picture. I was really glad I saw this in the theater.

I'm surprised Beetlejuice was PG (80s, but close). It's pretty dark. Lots of death and suicide, some scares and creepy creatures, and an f-bomb.

I suggest period films, particularly Sense and Sensibility. I love watching this movie when I'm sick and I can just drift in and out of sleep. Everyone talks in low, controlled tones, and the music and landscapes are so beautiful and soothing. Personally this works for me because I've seen it a million times, but it probably also works for people who find period films boring!
