British show Humans about androids is criminally underrated.
Ergo Proxy is an anime about a dystopian future where androids are turning sentient. one of the greatest works of fiction ever full of philosophical insights into what makes us human. I've watched it 3 times and I appreciate and learn more each time. Pino is the best android ever. (do yourself a service and watch in og jp dub to truly enjoy the voice acting)
Time of eve is a poignant yet lighthearted anime that shows how androids and humans will need to learn to co-exist. The story mostly takes place in an underground cafe in Tokyo where people dont know who's an android and who's human to avoid prejudice.
obviously ghost in the shell, movies and series, the grand daddy of it all.

why are you so evil?? you would create sentient being just so they could live in these harsh places while you live comfy on earth?

its even worse for ar. people refuse to see how ar glasses can be better than carrying a phone or laptop. eventually it will probably be enhanced eye/neural implants.

oh yes I think the possibilities are beyond what we couldve come up with thus far with the current limitations of education. and like you said, with ai you wont be afraid to ask as many questions as you want and have the ai teach according to your style or given challenges. Can you imagine learning about history in vr, being right in the middle of some of the biggest historic moments? or learning a craft from some of the greatest masters? once people actually see the greatness of ai education, no one in their right mind wil go back to the current shit system.
