I’ve finished the series already and it was very well done as usual. I didn’t realize antisemitism was THAT bad in the US back then. I mean politicians were just open about it. I also didn’t know that the death camps were known before they found them, or that the British had the knowledge of all the executions of Jewish poles/Russians during the initial blitz. The fact that they were worried about the war being viewed as “being fought for the Jews” is disturbing as well.

I’ve had a couple kitties that had problems with love bites. One in particular that loved to bite my nose. I could usually tell when he was about to do it so I was pretty quick to retreat so he would miss. But one time I was just slow/stupid and he got me SO good. He figured I was gonna yank my head away like usual but I didn’t move, so he connected and bit HARD. Not only did it hurt like hell but blood started coming out of holes on both sides of my nose. It was my fault so I couldn’t be angry with him. He was still young and I eventually broke him of his little habit but he got me that day.
